It is all about color placement. The odd numbered units are red and black, placed so the same color is sewn on opposite sides. The even numbered units are yellow and green, sewn to adjoining sides.
This is a perfect size for a small wall hanging or use Insul-bright to create a trivet. What a great hostess gift! Since you only make four blocks, it can easily be finished in an afternoon.
