Prices effective July 1, 2023 (Prices subject to change without notice)

• Allover (Edge to Edge) Quilting:
One continuous design stitched from edge to edge over the entire quilt.
Price: Minimum Fee of $40.00 or $0.018 per square inch. 

• Allover Quilting with One Custom Border:
One design stitched edge to edge within the body of the quilt, with a separate design stitched in the border.
Price: Minimum Fee of $50.00 or $0.025 per square inch. 

• Custom Quilting:
3 or more quilting elements in a quilt, i.e. borders, sashing and block treatments.  Pricing is determined by the complexity and density of the quilting.
Price: Minimum Fee of $60.00 or $0.035 & up per square inch.

• Digital Quilting Designs:

If you would like a digital quilt design that I do not have. You will be responsible for the cost of downloading that digital design.

• Thread Charge:
Flat Fee - $6.50 (on all quilts- includes 1 color) Each Additional Color - $6.50 

Densely quilted quilts will have an additional thread cost.

• Batting:
Provide your own, or I have Dream Blend batting available at $13.50 per yard for 93 inches wide. Dream Blend batting 122 inches wide for $17 per yard.Dream Puff batting for $11 per yard for 93 inches wide. Dream Wool batting for $17.50 per yard for 93 inches wide. Dream Wool batting 122 inches wide for $19 per yard.

If your batting is pieced there may be an additional fee of $10 due to increased quilting time.  I will let you know ahead of time if this is necessary.

• Backing:
You provide the fabric - I prepare, square, and press.  Price: $20

• Pressing Fee:

Although extremely rare, occasionally a quilt top requires additional pressing before it can be loaded onto the quilting frame.  I will notify you of any additional charges.

• Squaring Backing Fee:

If it is necessary for me to square your backing so it will fit on the quilting machine the following charge will apply.

Price:  $5 for baby size or $10 for twin size or $15 for queen size or $20 for king size

• Binding - Machine Applied to Quilt:
You provide binding and I will machine apply it to the front of the quilt, ready for you to finish at home.
Price: $0.10 per linear inch. 

• Binding - Machine Applied to Both Sides:
You provide binding and I will machine apply it to the front and back of the quilt.
Price: $0.15 per linear inch. 

• Binding - Machine & Hand-Stitched:
You provide the binding and I will machine apply it to the front and hand stitch it to the back of the quilt.
Price: $0.20 per linear inch. 

• Rush Order:
If you need a turn around time sooner than the first available scheduling slot a Rush Fee will apply. No Exceptions!

Allover Quilting $50 or Custom Quilting $85

Sample Sizing Formula: Example used with:
Quilt Length = 90" Allover Quilting price:
Quilt Width = 70" 6,300" x $.018 per sq.in.
90" x 70" = 6,300 sq.in. Total Price of Quilting: $113.40

Thank you for taking interest in my service. Before you bring your quilt to me, there are just a few things that you need to do.

• Prepare your backing fabric 6-8 inches larger on all 4 sides than the pieced top.  Please also make sure the backing is square.  If not, an extra charge may be applied. (See above prices.)
• Purchase a batting that is also 6-8 inches larger on all 4 sides than the pieced top. I have batting available for purchase if you'd like to skip this step. 
• Press all seams of the pieced top with an iron. 
• Clip all hanging threads that you do not want to show through the top
