Swing-Style Sensations Jacket

This versatile jacket can be constructed with either a conventional machine or a serger.  In this class, we will be using only the serger.
While the jacket can be made from a variety of fabrics, for this class we will be using a batik.  This fabric allows us to leave the roll back collar unfaced and gives us the opportunity to finish off the hems decoratively.
3 Yards of BATIK fabric are included in the price of the class.  In addition, you will need to purchase the pattern and bring or purchase 4 spools of thread to match your fabric (can be regular size Mettler polyester thread spools).  If you want a decorative contrasting thread for hemming, I recommend 2 spools of Glide embroidery thread and 1 spool of matching Mettler thread, which can be purchase from Sew'N Sweep the day of class.
You will also need to bring your serger (in good working order), pins, scissors, seam ripper, snips, large eye hand sewing needle and tape measure.

Please let us know at least 2 weeks in advance if you need to back out of a class. Our teachers work very hard preparing for class and to do so properly, they need to have a head count a couple of weeks before the class begins.
Because all class fees go to our teachers, we cannot refund class fees if you do not show up for a class or if you cancel less than 1 week before the start of the class.
