The Retreat House sleeps 8 and is located in the heart of downtown Blanco and just a block off the square on 3rd Street. The historic house was renovated to provide a quaint and comfortable retreat facility for quilters, scrapbookers and other craft-related groups. It is within walking distance to Uptown Blanco Textile Studio, restaurants and local shopping.

In the kitchen you'll find dishes, glasses, silverware, basic cooking pans and utensils. Appliances include refrigerator (with ice maker), microwave, dishwasher, range with oven, coffee maker and toaster.


The workroom has 8 adjustable height worktables and chairs, 8 design boards, 2 cutting tables and 2 large ironing boards. The room has EXCEPTIONAL lighting!


There are 4 bedrooms and each room has two beds (either a twin or a full size bed), pillows, linens and quilts. Top of the line mattresses are provided to ensure a comfortable night's sleep!





There are 2 full bathrooms with showers, one which is ADA compliant, and 1 half bath.  Towels, bath, hand and wash cloths, are provided.

For relaxing when not being creative, there is a Gathering room with TV, couch, table and chairs.

Other amenities include an available washer and dryer, WIFI, and a covered wrap-around porch.

Fees:
The cost is $600/night (taxes included) for the 8 person occupancy. There is a minimum of a two-night stay.   A $150 deposit is required to reserve the House and will be applied to the stay upon check-in.
