Celebrating a Decade of Quilting Magic: Cupcake Quilts Turns 10!

What a journey it’s been! This year, Cupcake Quilts proudly celebrates its 10th anniversary—a milestone that fills our hearts with immense joy, gratitude, and a renewed sense of purpose. From humble beginnings to becoming a beloved name in the quilting community, this moment invites us to reflect on the incredible path we’ve traveled and the vibrant community we’ve built together. 

A Little Red Schoolhouse and Big Dreams

It all began in 2015 in a quaint “Little Red Schoolhouse” that exuded charm and warmth—a fitting place for a quilting haven to take root. This unique location became a cornerstone for Cupcake Quilts, a space where creativity flourished, friendships blossomed, and quilts became heirlooms. It wasn’t just a store; it was a sanctuary for quilters of all levels to come together, share their passion, and create something beautiful.

Several locations later Cupcake Quilts now calls 21120 Spring Towne Drive in Spring, Texas home. We have worked hard to transform our current location into a welcoming space with an unwavering commitment to providing the best tools, fabrics, and experiences for our customers.

Meeting and overcoming challenges

Like any long journey, the past ten years have had their share of challenges. Managing multiple locations taught us valuable lessons about staying true to our core values. And when the pandemic turned the world upside down, we adapted to continue supporting our community. Quilting became a source of comfort and creativity during those uncertain times, and we were determined to ensure our customers had access to the supplies and resources they needed. From launching virtual events to offering curbside pickup, Cupcake Quilts remained a steadfast presence for quilters navigating the “new normal.”
