We offer a variety of classroom instructions geared for all levels of sewing experience by our knowledgeable teaching staff. You can narrow your search by selecting from the choices below. Click on the picture for details about the class!
If you are looking for some time spent with people of like minds, join a club or sit & stitch! These are not as structured as a class; you bring whatever you are working on and swap stories and techniques with happy quilters.

Studio 180 Star 60 Log Cabin
4 hour class. Difficulty 2 Stars. This class is an introduction into making the Star 60, which can be made in 17 sizes. As with all the Star 60 Stars they can be incorporated into One Block Wonders or made into a rectangle/square. Take your log cabin technique to a new shape. Using your Star 60® tool with oversized strips, you can create these fun and interesting blocks. The blocks can be used to create Star 60 units by adding side triangles.

Beginner Quilting 101
Join Lynn for 3 classes and you will be introduced to the wonderful world of quilting. Whether you are brand new to quilting or know a little something, this is the class for you. The first class we will talk about the equipment and tools used to create a quilt. Next, we will get to work and use that new knowledge and learn techniques for cutting and piecing. You can go home after the 3rd class with a new table topper or wall hanging, completed or almost completed, that you will be proud of! You can check out the sample in the shop for inspiration!

A Field Guide to Making Bags by Sallie Tomato is the primer you will use in Linda's 5 month long class on bag making. You will start with the small zipper bag in this picture and each month you will learn new skills and more complex bag making. By the last class you will have gained the skills and confidence to tackle any bag! Don't dawdle! There are just 5 seats available.

We all have them in our stash, UnFinished Objects. Maybe you put it down so long ago that you can't recall what you were to do next? Maybe you bought that kit and don't know how to get started? Maybe you just want some companionship while sewing and a teacher on board if you have a question and need some help! This club is for you. Linda will be your guide and she knows soooooo much about sewing and is happy to help you get on track with whatever you are working on. There are just 5 seats!!

A Road Trip Quilt Block of the Month CLASS REGISTRATION CLOSED
Welcome to our new Block of the Month, beginning September 15, 2023! This gorgeous quilt takes you over the river, through the woods, on a starry night, past the cabins and every which way! Thanks to Jodi, Megan, Lynn and Francy for the beautiful sample that is now hanging in the shop. We have used P&B Suedes to make it much like the pattern cover. Each month you will receive the materials needed for the blocks as directed in the pattern. For instance, the first month is log cabin blocks of which there are 8. Jodi and Megan have graciously broken down each month so that you don't have to keep track of the leftovers from one month to the next! The quilt finishes 60 x 74 and will be done by August 2024. You will receive a discount on quilting when you bring it in by October 1, 2024, and will have it back in time for Christmas! Join in the fun! Signups will be taken until September 4 so we have time to get your first kit cut!
