Our Program is exciting and different!
We believe that everyone has it in them to become a rock star. Our program will help bring out the best musician you can be.
Here at Brothers Guitar Shop we offer a beginners program where we loan you a guitar for your first 5 lessons! After a few lessons with our head music teacher Bryan Walters you will have the fundamentals, the confidence, and the desire to continue on your lifelong journey of being a musician!
While taking lessons with us you will receive awesome in-store perks such as free accessories, discounts on guitars up to %20 off, and setup vouchers!
Nothing compares to a private lesson with a hands on teacher. A great instructor can assess your progress, develop your technique, and help you to reach your musical goals!
Location
We have a fully equipped classroom on 87th and 1st ave. We can also travel to your home whichever you are more comfortable with.
We maintain social distancing as per the CDC guidelines. Masks are to be worn at all times and a plexiglass divider is placed between teacher and student to further minimize contact.
Bryan Walters is a multi-instrumentalist from Brooklyn, NY.
Education
Bryan received his Bachelor’s degree in Orchestral Trumpet from Manhattan School of Music.
Experience
Bryan has maintained an active teaching studio for 15 years, including students as young as 4 years old, middle and high school students, and adults.
He can teach guitar, bass guitar, piano, trumpet, trombone, and tuba. Bryan’s custom lesson plans are always excited and individually tailored to each students’ skill level, musical goals, and taste in music.
Career
He has had the pleasure of performing and touring extensively, appearing at notable venues such as Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, Brooklyn Bowl, the Blue Note NYC, Summer Stage, and many more.
