About Us
In January 2022, we proudly took over the reins from two legendary gentlemen of Rex Cox Men's Wear whose legacy had spanned 97 years at the time! We are Les Rimar and Irene Barlas Rimar, co-partners in this amazing venture and we wish to keep that same level of passion for customer service and fashion alive. Our mission is always to ensure each person who enters our store leaves with a memorable, friendly experience they truly deserve.
We have spent over 30 plus years in British Columbia in the service business enjoying interactions with customers on every level and WE JUST ABSOLUTELY LOVE PEOPLE! Especially people we can create special connections with and people we can know by name and get to call our very own customers! I, Irene, have had a love and enthusiasm for beautiful clothing and fashion since I was five years old, all kinds of fashion. Whether I am buying, or wearing stylish clothes, designing unique clothes, or selling stylish clothes in all genres to wonderful people, looking good is not just a desire of mine, it’s my signature of existence and an absolute MUST in life. If I can expand this love of fashion past myself and help others look their absolute best, I want to do just that! Rex Cox Men’s Wear has fulfilled this desire of mine. 
Les is my partner on this wonderful journey. He relishes in seeing amazing transformations that come out of choosing the right clothing for the right personality, for the right mood, or event for every gentleman. He is the epitome of transformation himself, easily able to go from your everyday gent in work clothes, to evening casual wear to all dressed up in style when it's time to make an impression at special events! For years he has supported my love for fashion and appreciated every opportunity he gets to enjoy awesome pieces of clothing on and off the rack. He’s my Ying to my Yang for sure!
