I'll guide your patrons through a process of creating cool and useful projects with just a simple needle and thread!
Easy, Efficient and Economical Programming
- Super simple to book either a single workshop or several months

- Receive ready-to-use photos and text for your marketing materials
- Just choose the project and month that you'd like from the section below
Librarians will receive a video link to post on the Library website for 30 days along with beautifully illustrated written instructions to share.
Workshops are especially designed for pre-tween, tween and teen patrons. Video sessions run 40 min - 1 hour. NO SEWING EXPERIENCE NEEDED.
Patrons can view and sew at their convenience!
How Does the On-Demand Video Program Work?
I love this series of pics forwarded to me by a youth services librarian. It really shows how the On Demand Hand Sewing Video program works. The librarian purchased the Bunny in the Hoop Workshop along with a package of Patron Project Kits. I emailed project pics and descriptions for her marketing materials. About 2 weeks before the start of the program, I emailed the Video Link and shipped out the kits. The link was then posted on the library's social media account and young patrons stopped by to pick up their kits. Then they were able to watch and stitch on their own schedule over the month. Projects are designed for success and patrons and parents alike share in feeling sewww accomplished! And, in my latest Newsletter you'll see how inventive librarians are using the Hand Sewing Video Workshops for on-site programs in the library too!! Patron Project Kits
These Kits contain nicely curated fabrics, notions and supplies to complete each project. Just add scissors and stuffing (and, I have great DIY stuffing options just in case...). Each pack contains 5 kits and the cost is just $7 per patron plus shipping. The kits are assembled when you order so please allow about 2 weeks lead time for me to prep and ship the kits to your library.
