Here’s your chance to cut into a charm pack or pull from your stash to make this easy table runner! In this class we’ll be using the “Desert Stars” pattern by Atkinson Designs and we will be doing the “Simple Stars” version. The first class will focus on making the table runner top. The second class will focus on quilting and binding using a traditional binding method.

Join Beth as she shows you how easy curved piecing can be as you create this beautiful Giving Tree wall hanging, featured in the Mini Wonderful Curves book using the QCR mini ruler. This is the perfect project, just in time for the holidays! You will be working on the top during class with discussion on how to finish it at home.

Beth can't wait to show you how to make the "Holiday Lane" table runner from the Modern Holiday Table Runners pattern set, the first in her series of Table Runner Tuesday classes. This table runner is made using conventional piecing techniques, with no tricky seams or paper piecing--easy peasy! Beth is leaving it up to you to quilt your table runner masterpiece but will discuss different quilting options in class.

Come make the cutest quilted, vinyl and mesh zipper case! The Atlas case is perfect for storing your notions for on-the-go sewing! There are several uses for this handy case: keep kids busy and entertained on longer trips, organize your jewelry, makeup and other daily essentials! Items are kept tidy and contained with two large interior slip pockets, one large zipper pocket and two smaller zipper pockets. Vinyl and mesh keeps items visible for easy access. Grab some coordinating fabrics, some vinyl, mesh and zippers and let’s make your newest favorite zipper case. Please note that while you can machine bind the Atlas zipper case, Jennifer does recommend a hand sewn final binding for a more polished look. Class Prep: Please quilt and trim your pieces prior to class. This is a beginner course that teaches cutting, ¼” seam allowance, pressing and finishing up with machine binding. This class does not cover basic usage of a sewing machine.

It’s a holly jolly holiday! Stitch up this fresh holly berries block that we will turn into a pillow using the Holly Jolly quilt pattern. In class, we will focus on finishing one block for a pillow as Jennifer shares tips and tricks for making multiple blocks to make a runner or the full quilt. Practice your stitch and flip and pressing technique to create a bright and cheerful addition to your holiday decor. This is also a great opportunity to challenge yourself with small piecing. Go scrappy and grab from your stash or treat yourself to some fresh fat quarters, then join the fun! Class Prep: Please press and cut fabric for at least one block (the store sample will have 4 blocks total). Some cut pieces are small and starching your fabric is strongly recommended, but not required.

Has binding your quilt got you in a bind? Join Jennifer for this in-depth basics class on machine binding. We will cover how to trim your quilted piece for binding, how to calculate how much fabric to purchase (manual and time saving computer calculation on your cell phone), make our binding strips with a biased/diagonal join and machine bind with a traditional 2 ½” double fold binding. There will also be plenty of tips and tricks to help get neat, mitered corners and manage the bulk of larger sized projects. It is recommended you bring a project no larger than ~25” x 25” so that you will have time to finish during the class session.

This is a fun and versatile Crossbody bag. The base bag has two zipper pockets on the front with a main top zipper and a slip pocket on the inside. If you are afraid of zippers, there is no need. This bag will ease your fears. Also, there are options to make it what you want to make it with an optional back pocket and interior zip pocket.
