Craft Handmade Clothing for Homeless LGBTQ+ Youth

At least 40% of the homeless youth in New York City identify as LGBTQ+. Knit the Rainbow works to empower and protect these youth by providing them with handmade knit & crochet winter clothing accessories. Please get involved! Did you know that there are 550,000 Homeless LGBTQ+ Youth in the U.S.A. and 8,000 are homeless. In NYC alone, there are only 350 beds dedicated to the Homeless LGBTQ+ Youth!

Come to our event and you will get a skein(s) of yarn to make items for Knit the Rainbow and when complete you can drop off at Luv2Knit & More. We will collect and ship the items to Knit the Rainbow.
