Snorkeling for Fun & Fitness

Cost: $75 Pre-registration is required.  INCLUDES use of mask, snorkel, fins, & wetsuit!

Advanced Snorkeling & Spearfishing

Learn advanced snorkeling, efficient kicking, breath holding skills, buoyancy control, and a general introduction to spear fishing. This course is a class/pool session with an open water spearfishing adventure!  Students must own mask, fins, snorkel. Wetsuit, weight belt, & speargun are provided for this class.

Classes are at the store 5-6 and Pool 6-8pm.  Open water spearfishing dates & times vary based on tides & weather conditions

Cost: $500 per student (2 person limit)  Pre-registration is required. 

Try scuba diving and begin the adventure of a lifetime

The SSI Try Scuba program is the best way to try scuba diving for the first time. You will be in confined water and well looked after by your instructor, so you can enjoy those first unforgettable breaths underwater and experience the magic of scuba diving. At the end of this short course, you will have earned your SSI Try Scuba recognition card and undoubtedly want to go diving again.

Try SCUBA is your chance to get wet & experience what SCUBA Diving is all about.  We know that once you come in & try it...you'll LOVE IT!

Try SCUBA Experience is a 2 hour class and pool session.  Includes ALL equipment (mask, fins, snorkel, BC, regulator, tank, & wetsuit).

Classes are held Fridays 6-8 pm 

Cost: $175 per student. Pre-registration is required. (Course fee can be applied to the Open Water Certification Class)

Continue your dive adventure with a Scuba Skills Update

It is easy for dive skills to get rusty and to lose confidence when you have not dived for a while. With the SSI Scuba Skills Update, we will get you back in the water and diving with ease in no time. This scuba refresher course allows you to review and practice scuba skills you learned in your Open Water Diver program, under the guidance of an SSI Professional. This is a great course to take just before a dive holiday, so you spend less time worrying about your skills and more time admiring the marine life.

If you are a non-certified Open Water Diver student, a Scuba Skills Update is ideal for practicing your dive skills before your open water training dives. With no fixed course duration, you can take your time and focus on the skills you need help with.

Become a certified Open Water Diver with SSI

This globally recognized certification program is the best way to begin your lifelong adventures as a certified scuba diver. Personalized training is combined with in-water practice sessions to ensure you have the skills and experience required to become truly comfortable underwater. You will earn the SSI Open Water Diver certification.

This is an entry level program through SSI that is designed to bring the snorkeler into the depths of the underwater world!  Classwork is competed online and reviewed with our instructors in a classroom setting.  Pool training completed in three 2-hour sessions then it's off to the open water for the completion of this life-long internationally recognized diving certification.  Class portion is held at Bob's Sea & Ski; Pool sessions. Class/Pool sessions are Monday/Friday or Wed/Friday from 6-8 pm.

This open water course is geared to fit your busy schedule!  Get certified at your own pace.  Online training that you complete in your free time & schedule.  Once completed, you will meet privately with one of our instructors for review or course work, final testing, pool sessions, & open water dives.  We start when you are ready!  

Cost: $1800 per student.  Includes use of all SCUBA equipment (BC, Regulator, Tank, Wetsuit). Students are required to own personal mask, snorkel, dive fins, boots, weight belt/ weights, hood, & gloves.

Specialty Dive Courses   

Ongoing educational classes are a great way to advance your skills as an Open Water or Advanced Open Water Diver!  These classes include online training modules, pool, & open water components.  Pool sessions are on the Friday evening following class with open water component TBA by the instructor. 

Become a certified Equipment Techniques Specialty diver

Choosing and buying your dive equipment is one of the biggest and most important investments you will make as a diver, but it is easy to get it a bit wrong. We want you to choose the right dive kit for your needs and know how to look after it properly. With the right knowledge, you can get the most from your investment and enjoy safe and comfortable dives for years to come.

The SSI Equipment Techniques specialty is the best way to learn how to choose and store your dive kit. Working with an experienced and trained SSI Professional, you will learn in-depth information about the components of your Total Diving System and develop a thorough understanding of your diving equipment.

You will also practice basic preventative dive equipment maintenance to ensure you get maximum performance and longevity from your Total Diving System. Start this dive equipment specialty today!

This is a one night class specialty where you learn preventive maintenance and basic repair and service of your total diving system. The class includes a tackle box filled with products to help you maintain and service every piece of equipment you own.

Become an SSI Navigation Specialty Diver

In this specialty program, you will gain the advanced skills and knowledge you need to safely and confidently navigate underwater.

You will learn how to use a compass and natural navigation techniques, estimate distance, how to leave and return to a designated point, plus basic navigation patterns. You will also be taught how to combine navigation techniques to enhance your diving experience. All of which hones your underwater observation skills, improves your dive safety and helps you to get the most out of every dive.

Upon completion, you will earn the SSI Navigation Specialty certification.

Become an SSI Night Diver

Night diving requires different skills from diving during the day. The SSI Night Diving and Limited Visibility specialty is the best way to learn about night diving and practice the techniques you will need to become a safe and confident night diver.

In this program, you will be provided with all the knowledge and skills you need to safely and comfortably dive at night or in limited visibility conditions. With a combination of online learning and open water training dives, you will learn how to enter and exit the water, use specialized equipment, and how to communicate with your buddy easily at night or in limited visibility.

Upon completion, you will earn the SSI Night Diving and Limited Visibility specialty certification and be ready to go night diving with confidence.

Night & Limited Visibility: 6:00pm- 8:00pm

Start your Diver Stress and Rescue Specialty adventure

The SSI Diver Stress and Rescue specialty program teaches you the skills you need to protect yourself and other divers.

You will learn how to identify stress, how to prevent accidents and be taught practical techniques to conduct rescues and provide emergency care. With a combination of pool and open water practice sessions, you will become well prepared and confident at handling emergency and rescue situations.

Upon completion, you will earn the SSI Diver Stress and Rescue Specialty certification.

The SSI Perfect Buoyancy specialty is the best way to improve your buoyancy and get the most from every dive.

Buoyancy is an essential dive skill, but any diver will tell you it takes time to perfect. The Perfect Buoyancy specialty will teach you advanced buoyancy skills and techniques, so you can master your buoyancy more quickly and enjoy more relaxed dive adventures. In this fascinating program, you will also learn new skills that protect the environment and work in every diving situation.
