Fishing the River
Magnify the excitement of landing a monstrous Mississippi smallmouth bass, walleye, muskie, pike, or catfish by hauling it in from a kayak!
Kayak fishing is one of the fastest growing sports in America, and our premier fleet of fishing kayaks are specially equipped for the outstanding fishing on the stretch of the Mississippi River from St. Cloud to Dayton. With a shallow, rocky bottom and easy flowing current, this stretch is ideal for fishing, but has poor conditions for motor boats. What does that leave? Fishing from a canoe or kayak! With a gently flowing current void of any rapids, dams or falls, the paddling is relaxing and the fishing is spectacular. According to Field and Stream Online, this stretch of river was ranked top 10 in the United States for smallmouth river fishing! Many consider it world class due to the limited motor traffic, river accessibility, and special fishing regulations.
